Welcome to my homepage!
I am currently Associate Professor at the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), an international PhD school and a center of advances studies in Applied Mathematics, Astroparticle Physics, Computer Science, and Regional Science located in L'Aquila, Italy.
I have been the Principal Investigator for the PRIN 2022: "Emergence of condensation-like phenomena in interacting particle systems: kinetic and lattice models."
I am part of the research group Stochastic Modelling in L'Aquila (SMAQ) and, since 2021, I have been part of the scientific and organizing committee for the GSSI-Univaq joint seminars in Probability and Mathematical Physics (SMAQ Seminars).
Before joining GSSI, I held a faculty position (Ricercatore di tipo B, tenure-track associate professor) at DISIM, University of L'Aquila and, before, a Postdoctoral researcher posistion at the Institute for Applied Mathematics, University of Bonn, where I have been investigator of the Research Area C1 at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics , and member of the Collaborative Research Centre 1060 "The Mathematics of Emergent Effects" based at University of Bonn. I completed my undergraduate studies at Sapienza University of Rome and obtained a joint PhD in Mathematics from Sapienza under the supervision of Prof. Mario Pulvirenti.
